Job Summary: To clean, maintain, and stock all guest lodging rooms to achieve Odawa Casino Resort standards of quality utilizing established Standards of Service.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Represents Odawa Casino Resort in the most positive manner with internal and external guests to satisfy service expectations. Interacts effectively with a diverse group of guests and Team Members, learns and uses operating practices of the department and the organization.


  • Upholds Odawa Casino Resort Mission statement in all aspects of position: Odawa Casino Resort is committed to providing Guests with an exciting entertainment experience through exceptional customer service and hospitality. Odawa Casino Resort is committed to providing Employees with a safe, consistent and enjoyable work environment that brings rewarding and challenging experiences.


  • Ensures the hotel is ready for operation by thoroughly cleaning, with cleaning agents, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming all surfaces in the guest lodging rooms of the hotel. In addition, replacing all soiled linen in all guest lodging rooms.


  • Replenishes all guest lodging room supplies.


  • Provides guest and fellow team member assistance, instruction and/or guidance.


  • Attends any requested meetings and/or training sessions.


  • Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to read and understand warning labels and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Must be able to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 60 pounds and be able to lift weight up to 50 pounds. Must be able to extend arms overhead with bending and stooping frequently. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to work with a variety of cleaning chemicals. Must be flexible with shift and days off. Must be able to work independently and on a team. Must be able to meet Odawa Casino Resort internal training requirements and be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission. Must maintain confidentiality at all times. Pre-employment drug testing will apply to all selected applicants receiving an offer of conditional employment.
