Pickler Sells Out, Philbin Signs On, Rivers On DeckOdawa Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians is pleased to announce the July 15th, 2009 Kellie Pickler show has sold out.Pickler, an Academy of Country Music Association Award Winner, has been selling out shows since her American Idol Season Five appearances. The Resort also announced that the entertainment season will close out with television personality Regis Philbin. The daytime and quiz show host, who has been appearing on television since the 1950’s, will bring his zany antics, wit and charm to Odawa Casino Resort on September 12th. His appearance at Odawa Casino Resort was announced on his nationally syndicated, Live with Regis and Kelly show on Thursday, July 9th. General Manager, Sean Barnard said, “We’re having a great year with entertainment. Kellie is sold out, Regis has booked and Joan Rivers is on her way for two nights, July 17th and 18th. I think the line-up and the ticket sales speak to the quality of stars we can attract and talent our customers want to see. Regis will bring his song and dance show, along with his stand-up bit and of course, audience participation.” Barnard went on to say, “Joan Rivers tickets are still available, but just because we have her for two nights shouldn’t mean people should wait until the last minute to purchase tickets.” Casino guests are also responding well to the prices. Barnard said, “We’ve lowered our price point this year to ensure that the shows are enjoyed by more of our loyal guests. Discounting the prices by $5.00 for Optimum Rewards Members and giving all ticket holders $10.00 in free play for every show has been extremely well received.” Tickets can be purchased and more information can be found on the Odawa Casino Resort website at www.odawacasino.com. Out of town guests can purchase their tickets at starticketsplus.com, by calling Star Tickets Plus at 800-585-3737, at all Meijer Stores, inside the Odawa Casino Resort at the Quill Box gift shop, and the day of the show at the Odawa Casino Resort Box Office.
