Job Summary: The Cocktail Server is responsible for providing fast, friendly and courteous service to every customer while taking and serving beverage orders in the Night club.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Represents Odawa Casino Resort in the most positive manner with internal and external guests to satisfy service expectations. Interacts effectively with a diverse group of guests and Team Members, learns and uses operating practices of the department and the organization.

Maintains upbeat and positive attitude.
Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and professionally responds according to regulations and TIPS training.
Greets, welcomes and invites our guests back.
Works with Micros and process all reports as necessary.
Uses knowledge to up sell at all times.
Has a thorough knowledge of the casino food and beverage selections.
Anticipates the guests needs and accommodates them to the best of their ability.
Assists management by informing them of any guest complaints.
Takes guest’s order and writes it down for accuracy.
Consistently cleans all trash and unwanted debris from the guest’s area.
Presents the beverage order to the bartender in an efficient and courteous manner.
May take orders and serve light meals and hors d’oeuvres.
Completes any set-up, closing or side work duties assigned.
Requests identification from guests when legal age is in question.
Keeps bar and service areas stocked and maintained.
Attends all meetings/ and or training sessions as required.
Maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable work environment for Team Members and guests.
Maintains professional grooming and appearance according to the established Grooming and Appearance policy.
Ability to perform uniformed small dance routines with self, other servers and bartenders, either on stage or on dance node.
Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to write legibly and be able to understand and speak English. Long periods of standing and walking required. Significant lifting up to thirty-five (35) pounds, along with bending, reaching, stooping, pushing and pulling. May encounter wet slippery floors. Moderate use of hands, wrists, and fingers as associated with carrying trays, computer and cash register usage. Exposure to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filled environment. Must be flexible with shifts and days off. Must maintain confidentiality at all times. Must be able to meet Odawa Casino Resort Internal training requirements. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission. Pre-employment drug testing will apply to all selected applicants receiving an offer of conditional employment.
