The ABLEî program has been designed to enhance the job skills of all team members looking to grow professionally to prepare for advancement within the Odawa Casino Resort. ABELî is accomplished through five distinct phases; Acquisition, Branding, Education, Leadership and Internship. Each phase teaches invaluable lessons which will develop strong leadership and management competencies of those team members involved in the program.

Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians Gaming Board of Directors Chairperson, Carol McFall said, “One of our goals is to continually mentor our team members and give them the opportunity to professionally advance into lasting careers, as opposed to short-term jobs. This is especially important for the commitment the Board has made to members of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians.”

Sixty-eight team members attended the ABELî meeting, held on October 20th, with dozens signing up to participate in the program.

General Manager, Sean Barnard said, “I am so proud that so many of our team members are taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity. The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians will reap the long-term benefits of this program for years to come.”
