Job Summary: Sets up and maintains buffet and condiment area for Odawa Casino Resort. Replaces all hot and cold food items as well as plates and other utensils.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Represents Odawa Casino Resort in the most positive manner with internal and external guests to satisfy service expectations. Interacts effectively with a diverse group of guests and Team Members, learns and uses operating practices of the department and the organization.

- Maintains upbeat and positive attitude.
- Sets up and maintains buffet and condiment area during assigned shift.
- Cleans buffet pans and any food or burn spots.
- Consistently monitors the buffet area, keeping it stocked and cleaned.
- Know food quality standards and the menu manuals.
- Practice teamwork among kitchen staff and other departments.
- Keeps floor around buffet area free from debris and wiped down.
- Keeps buffet, walls and carts cleaned and sanitized.
- Polishes stainless steel and cleans glass on buffet.
- Assists with the proper labeling of food products on the buffet.
- May assist with replenishing food products.
- Meets or exceeds restaurant sanitation standards.
- Keeps holding ovens and holding coolers orderly, clean and sanitized.
- During non-busy times, helps out in kitchen area.
- Attends all meeting and/or training sessions as required.
- Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to write legibly and be able to understand and speak English Must be able to meet Odawa Casino Resort internal training requirements. This position requires lifting and carrying weight up to fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling. Must maintain confidentiality at all times. Must be able to handle busy periods during peak service times. Must be flexible with shifts and days off. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission. Pre-employment drug testing will apply to all selected applicants receiving an offer of conditional employment.
