Job Summary: Responsible for keeping bar organized, cleaned and stocked. Assists bartenders with opening and closing duties of bar.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Represents Odawa Casino Resort in the most positive manner with internal and external guests to satisfy service expectations. Interacts effectively with a diverse group of guests and Team Members, learns and uses operating practices of the department and the organization.

- Smiles and makes eye contact, greets, welcomes and invites our guests back, anticipates the needs and wants of our guests.
- Places liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, silverware, paper supplies, small wares and sundries in their designated places, follows proper storage and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Replaces empty draught beer kegs as may be required.
- Pits fruit and fills ice bins with crushed or cubed ice from designated machines.
- Operates all equipment and utensils as required.
- Washes beverage glasses.
- Removes empties and trash as required and transports to proper refuse areas.
- Keeps a neat, clean, and attractive environment at all times and abides by all health codes, cleaning, sweeping, and mopping.
- Ability to monitor guests’ consumption and respond according to TIPS training.
- Keeps the bar area stocked, including supplies and snacks, and cleaned and ready for guests at all times.
- Completes any side-work, set-up or closing duties as assigned.
- Attends all meetings and/or training sessions as required.
- Maintains grooming and appearance according to specified grooming and appearance policies.
- Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of bar equipment required. Must be able to write legibly and be able to understand and speak English. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to meet physical requirements of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, and reaching, and be able to be on feet for long periods of time. Exposure to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filled environment. Must maintain confidentiality at all times. Must be flexible with shift and days off and be able to handle busy periods during peak service times. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission.
